Discover Scuba Diving

If you’d like to try scuba diving in Muscat and either don’t have the time, or are unsure about committing to a full PADI Open Water course then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving is for you.
A one day introductory program, the Discover Scuba Diving course gives you the chance to test and use a full set of SCUBA equipment and take a full ocean dive from one of our dive boats.

Aura Divers PADI Discover Scuba Diving program includes:

  • One day introduction to scuba diving.
  • Shallow water skills conducted in swimming pool or confined water for additional safety and comfort.
  • Open Water boat dive conducted at one of Muscats shallow dive sites (max. 12 metres).
  • Includes all equipment rentals.
  • Experienced PADI Instructors or Divemasters guaranteed with very small group.
  • Option to make additional open water dives.

Please Note:

The “Discover Scuba Diving” is not a dive certification. If you’d like to keep diving after your initial experience, you can sign up for another Try dive, or move onward to complete your Open Water course.

  • Minimum 10 years of age
  • Those with major medical conditions require prior written approval from a physician.
  • For safety reasons, no photo or video equipment may be brought with you during Try dives
  • **It is recommended that you do not fly within 18-24 hours after diving!
